On Sunday, another game between the Islanders and the Rangers will happen at MetLife Stadium.
The Islanders are 22-18-13 with 57 points in the Metropolitan Division. The Rangers, on the other hand, lead the division with 71 season points and a 34-16-3 record.
In the long New York matchup between the Islanders and Rangers, the former leads the rivalry with a 135-128 all-time record.
