Pirates’ Paul Skenes flaunts nasty, MLB-ready stuff in Triple-A debut

It won’t be long until Pittsburgh Pirates’ top prospect Paul Skenes will be dominating MLB hitters, and his Triple-A debut was evidence of that.

The No. 1 overall pick from the 2023 MLB Draft made his Triple-A debut with the Indianapolis Indians on Saturday afternoon. As expected his stuff was electric. Downright filthy. Unhittable even.

Skenes was perfect in his three-inning debut. Living off a daunting fastball that averaged 100.1 miles per hour, Skenes struck out five batters on 46 pitches, 29 of which were strikes. That included 12 whiffs.

Just sit back and enjoy this disgusting compilation of his debut on Saturday. It won’t be long until he’s doing this in the big leagues.
