Where to watch Jordan vs Qatar live stream, TV channel, lineups, prediction for Asian Cup final

Qatar are aiming to defend their AFC Asian Cup title as they take on Jordan in a final showdown on February 10.

Neither side were tipped to reach the final at the start of the competition despite host nation Qatar holding the continental crown from 2019.

Managerial changes and a poor showing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup dented Qatar’s status in the region, but they have responded superbly to the challenge in this tournament, with Jordan in unchartered territory in their first-ever final appearance.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch it across the world, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Jordan vs. Qatar lineups, team news

Jordan have not flagged up any fresh injury concerns ahead of the final and they could stick with an unchanged team against Qatar.

Al Ahli striker Yazan Al-Naimat has been the key star in the knockout stages with two goals in three games.

Jordan subs (9): TBC

Qatar head coach Tintin Marquez could shuffle his options from the semifinal win over Iran but key attacking duo Akram Afif and Almoez Ali will start.

Qatar (4-4-2 right to left): Barsham (GK) — Miguel, Mukhtar, Mendes, Waad — Gaber, Al-Haydos, Fatehi, Mohamad — Afif, Ali.

Jordan vs. Qatar prediction

There is very little to choose between the two sides ahead of the final with Qatar’s late semifinal win over Iran matched by a superb performance from Jordan against South Korea.

Home advantage could be the defining factor in this one, and Qatar are unbeaten in the tournament, with Jordan losing one group match.

Prediction: Jordan 0-1 Qatar
