Jake Paul and Amanda Serrano live results, updates, highlights from 2024 boxing matches

Superstar influencer Jake Paul and decorated multi-weight world champion Amanda Serrano seek victory at the Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Saturday, March 2.

Paul (8-1, 5 KOs) will take on cruiserweight Ryan Bourland over eight rounds in what will be his second consecutive appearance against a real professional. While Bourland has been inactive in recent years, his 17-2 record suggests that he could provide “The Problem Child” with a stern test.

In an unprecedented move, Paul will be appearing on the undercard, which allows Serrano to headline her homecoming show.

“[Amanda] really deserves this moment and has worked so hard for it,” said Paul at the final press conference. “I’m happy to be a fan. The pressure is off of you when you’re not the main event, but you hear the crowd is much louder for her out there. So that’s why this is her spot, her time to shine.”

Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) is a boxing legend and will be defending her unified featherweight title against Germany’s Nina Meinke in an all-southpaw matchup. The 35-year-old Serrano has captured titles in seven weight classes and this will be her 21st world championship appearance.

“[I’m] super-excited, want it to be over with already,” said Serrano. “It’s been a long buildup, a long camp, trained really hard. I’m mentally and physically ready to put on a great show in the Coliseo, the sold-out crowd with a tough, durable opponent.”

The Sporting News will provide live updates and results from this huge show in Puerto Rico.
