The inaugural season of the Pro Volleyball Federation is coming to an end, but not without a championship. Four of the league’s seven teams will battle it out for the first PVF title.
And there’s no place like Nebraska to see it all go down. Omaha, whose team averaged the highest attendance this season with 9,656, will host the playoffs. In that case, the Supernovas will get much-needed home-court advantage.
Second-seeded Omaha will take on third-seeded San Diego. The teams faced off four times this season, splitting the series. The same goes for No. 1 Atlanta and No. 4 Grand Rapids. While the Vibe have been on top of the standings all season, the Rise finished the regular season with wins over fellow playoff teams the Supernovas and Mojo.
It’s anybody’s game at the end of the day. So, who will the PVF crown as its first ever champion?
