Jake Paul and Amanda Serrano fight results, schedule for 2024 boxing fights

It’s almost fight time in San Juan, Puerto Rico, as YouTube star Jake Paul continues his professional boxing ascent on the undercard of the country’s number one fistic franchise Amanda Serrano on March 2.

Paul (8-1, 5 KOs) will take on Ryan Bourland in an eight-round cruiserweight contest. The 17-2 Bourland is unheralded, but despite recent inactivity (just one fight in four-and-a-half years), the California-based boxer has a wealth of pro experience.

“[Amanda Serrano] is queen of the island, and I’m just the supporting character on March 2,” said Paul during the press conference to announce the card. “This is her night to create history and put on a show, and I’m just happy to be along for the ride.

“I think most people are going to be rooting for Amanda Serrano, so she’s the main event, and I’m happy to support and be a part of that. That’s what I wanted, and to just take a backseat.”

Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) is a legend in the sport. A seven-weight world champion, second only to former eight-weight ruler Manny Pacquiao, the hard-hitting lefty is already a lock for the Hall of Fame. The unified featherweight champ takes on Nina Meinke over 12 three-minute rounds.

“[Nina] has an opportunity to win all my belts, to show the world that she’s capable of beating Amanda ‘The Real Deal’ Serrano,” said the defending champion.

“I know she’s a tough, durable fighter and a very talented and skilled fighter, but I believe it’s going to be a great fight between both of us. Both of us really want this and we’re gonna prove to the world that there’s no backing down.”

The Sporting News will provide all the results from the big card in Puerto Rico.
