Mexican star Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez gets a shot at becoming a two-weight world champion when he takes on reigning WBA cruiserweight titleholder Arsen Goulamirian at the YouTube Theatre in Inglewood, California, on March 30.
The 12-round bout, plus undercard action, will be broadcast by DAZN.

Goulamirian (27-0, 19 KOs) won the WBA “regular” title in 2018 and was upgraded to full champion the following year when then-undisputed king Oleksandr Usyk moved up to heavyweight. The Armenian-born Frenchman has made four defenses and is coming off a 12-round unanimous decision win over Aleksei Egorov.
Ramirez (45-1, 30 KOs) is a former WBO super middleweight champion. After going 4-0 at light heavyweight, Zurdo failed in his bid to win gold at 175 pounds when he was outpointed by WBA titleholder Dmitry Bivol. Immediately electing to move north once again, the southpaw pressure fighter is now targeting the best at 200 pounds.

Goulamirian vs. Ramirez takes place on March 30. The main card starts at 8 p.m. ET. Goulamirian and Ramirez should make their way to the ring around 11:30 p.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.
