Where to watch Texas vs. Oklahoma State softball today: TV channel, live streams, start times for Big 12 series


Ranked No. 2 and No. 10 in this week’s ESPN.com/USA Softball poll, respectively, Texas and Oklahoma State are set to meet in a ranked conference clash. The Longhorns enter the weekend on a seven-game win streak, including a run-ruling of top-20 Florida State and a series sweep of UCF, outscoring the Knights 12-3 throughout the three-game stretch.

Oklahoma State is 8-2 over its last 10 games, dropping one to BYU in a close 11-8 affair and losing to Tulsa 3-0. The Cowgirls also swept UCF in mid-March, allowing eight runs and scoring 18. 

The two teams last faced off during the 2023 regular season with Texas sweeping the series. The Cowgirls remained competitive, forcing the first game of the series into extra innings where the Longhorns took home the win 1-0. Texas outscored OSU 8-4 the rest of the series in Austin, adding to its impressive 30-5 home record last year.

Oklahoma State is 10-0 at home while the Longhorns are 10-2 away, both teams eclipsing 25 wins so far this season. Currently, Texas is second to top-ranked Oklahoma in the Big 12 standings with OSU at its heels in third.

Junior Mia Scott, senior Joley Mitchell and freshman Kayden Henry have combined for 97 of Texas’ 261 runs so far on the season, with the freshman notching a team-leading 41 hits. The Longhorns’ pitching trio of Mac Morgan, Citlaly Gutierrez and Teagan Kavan are a combined 24-1 on the mound so far, with the whole pitching staff having allowed only 35 earned runs in 31 games.

Sophomores Claire Timm and Tallen Edwards both have 27 runs each for the Cowgirls, collecting 36 and 31 hits respectively. Lexi Kilfoyl, Ivy Rosenberry and Kyra Aycock have a combined 24-5 record on the mound.
