The Boston Red Sox have dropped both games against the Seattle Mariners without third baseman Rafael Devers due to shoulder soreness, but thankfully the two-time All-Star is returning to the lineup for the series finale on Sunday.

The Red Sox need to get back in the win column to avoid the series loss and stop their slide, and Devers’ return could seriously help. In the Opening Day victory, the third baseman went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run.
Whitlock is also making his season debut after having his worst year in the majors in 2023. In 22 appearances, he posted a 5.15 ERA and a 1.312 WHIP.
