Arsen Goulamirian vs. Gilberto Ramirez undercard: Complete list of fights before main event in 2024 boxing match


Arsen Goulamirian defends the WBA cruiserweight title against former world champion Gilberto Ramirez on March 30. The fight in California airs on DAZN worldwide.

Goulamirian (27-0) beat Ryad Merhy in 2018 via TKO to win the WBA cruiserweight title. The French fighter has defended the belt four times, his last fight against Aleksei Egorov was in November 2022.

Ramirez (45-1) beat Maksym Bursak for the WBO super middleweight title in 2017. “Zurdo” attempted to win light heavyweight gold in 2022 but lost against Dmitry Bivol in a one-sided affair. He last fought in October, going the distance against and beating Joe Smith Jr. 

“It means everything,” Ramirez told The Ring. “I fight for legacy. I feel a deep sense of determination, knowing that I’ve put in the work and that I have the skills to compete at this level. There’s a fire inside me, a burning desire to prove myself against the best in the world and to show everyone what I’m capable of.”

Santiago Dominguez faces Jose Sanchez.

Dominguez (26-0) turned pro in 2014. The Mexican fighter has won all but six fights via knockout. “Somer” last fought in November following more than a year out of the ring, beating Nolberto Casco.

Sanchez (14-3-1) turned pro in 2012. He is 3-2-1 in his last six fights and is on a three-fight win streak. “Guerro” last fought in October, beating Eric Tudor via decision.

Kareem Hackett vs. Rowdy Legend Montgomery

Further down the card is Kareem Hackett vs. Rowdy Legend Montgomery.

Hackett (12-0) turned pro in 2013. The Canadian last fought in September, beating Clay Waterman via decision. 

Montgomery (10-5-1) turned pro in 2014. The 37-year-old had a three-fight win streak snapped in July against Steven Nelson. 


Jonathan Canas vs. Romel Tsanimp

Jonathan Canas faces Romel Tsanimp.

Canas (3-0) turned pro in 2023 and has two wins via knockout. His last contest was a TKO win in January against Kameeko Hall.
