The Yankees and Red Sox meet again in the playoffs, furthering their storied rivalry. The two teams will face off in the Wild Card series in New York.
Boston traded away star slugger Rafael Devers earlier this season, but the team still managed to reach the postseason as the No. 5 seed. Led by a young core and Cy Young hopeful Garrett Crochet, the Red Sox are entering a new era.
New York enters the playoffs with the second-best record in the American League, but falls to the No. 4 seed because the Blue Jays won the division via a tiebreaker.
The three-game set between these AL East rivals will take place in New York beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
