Yankees get brutal injury prediction on Giancarlo Stanton

The talk of the past few weeks for the New York Yankees has been centered around the injuries they’ve dealt with on the mound.

While concerning, the Yankees are also dealing with an injury to Giancarlo Stanton, arguably one of the top three players on their roster.

When the lights get bright, all Stanton has done throughout his career is prove he’s as good as his contract says.

Many Yankees fans have grown frustrated over his injuries, and at times, rightfully so, but Stanton is the only one on the roster who’s continuously produced in the postseason, and there’s plenty to say about that.

Unfortunately, he’s currently dealing with tendonitis in both elbows, and his return to play date is uncertain.

The Yankees placed him on the 10-day IL, a surprise given the extent of this injury.

Despite the relatively good news of the Yankees placing him on the 10-day IL, some believe Stanton could be out for the remainder of the year, including Nick Mongiovi and Cooper Albers of AMNY, who predicted the star slugger will miss the campaign.

“The way Boone and the Yankees have handled Stanton’s injury has been alarming and suspicious. The 35-year-old slugger has also gotten hurt over the years in unique ways, like rounding the bases. It was also reported on March 13 that Stanton is dealing with a chronic calf issue…

“The way it’s been handled, how Stanton has gotten hurt, and how long he’s been sidelined for his injuries over the year, he’ll miss all of the 2025 season,” AMNY wrote.

It’s still too early to give this type of prediction on Stanton, but it would be the worst-case scenario for the Yankees. He’s needed in the middle of their lineup and would be desperately missed for the entire year.
