Yankees’ Aaron Judge’s RBI a day keeps the pitchers in dismay with insane stat

Aaron Judge just keeps doing things that would be unbelievable if not for the fact that he keeps doing things that are unbelievable.

The Yankees superstar makes the near-impossible believable.

His latest statistical masterpiece came Saturday, courtesy of a home run, his 11th of the season.

That home run gave Judge 164 RBI in his last 164 games.

Hitters these days simply don’t end up with an RBI per game pace. But Judge has one.

He’s also now hitting an obscene .434 after that homer, his 11th of the season.

Judge is on pace for MLB’s first 200-hit, 50-homer season since Rangers superstar Alex Rodriguez in 2001. And really, Judge is on pace for more like 230-55.

It’s not clear how long Judge can threaten a .400 batting average season, but if he did it while slugging 50-plus home runs, it’d have a case as the greatest hitting season of all time.

In the meantime, it’s wise just to enjoy it.

Every time the Yankees living legend comes to the plate, he’s a threat to do something never before seen on a baseball field.

That’s special.
