Jamie Vardy spent 13 seasons at Leicester City, but he’s leaving.
That opens up the transfer rumors market far and wide for Vardy.
And one surprise team has emerged as the potential favorite for Vardy’s services.
According to BetIdeas.com, the team with the shortest odds to acquire Vardy is Wrexham.
The website sets Vardy at 5-to-1 odds to join the tea mco-owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Wrexham currently plays in EFL League One, the third division in England, but has promotion to the Championship (second tier) in its sights.

Vardy would be an absolutely marquee signing following what would be a third successive promotion.
The 38-year old became a Leicester legend en route to the Foxes’ shock title in 2015-16. He set the Premier League record by scoring in 11 consecutive matches.
Vardy has 181 total Leicester goals on his account.
He also made 26 caps for England, scoring seven goals.
This season for Leicester, Vardy has netted eight goals in all competitions across 32 games.
He’s not the player he once was, but he’d be a tone setter and leader for Wrexham as the club chases its ultimate dream of a spot in the Premier League.
