It’s been a rough few years for Wizards fans, as they’ve finished each of the past several seasons with some of the worst records in the NBA.
One of the positives to that is being able to select top picks in the NBA Draft, which they were able to do in 2024, selecting Alex Sarr as the second overall pick.
Sarr has been a nice addition to Washington so far, and had one of his best games as a Wizard on Tuesday night against the 76ers.
What team history did Sarr make against the 76ers?
On Tuesday, Sarr posted a stat line of 31 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.
Sarr became the youngest player in team history to post a 30-point/10-rebound game, at 20y-185d (via StatMuse).
Through four games, Sarr has averaged 19.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists.
It’s still early in the year, but it’s a good sign to see Sarr already making a jump in his second year in the league.
The Wizards’ next game is on Thursday, as they’ll head to Oklahoma City to take on the 5-0 Thunder.
