What is the Wimbledon total prize money in 2025?

Wimbledon is shelling out £53.5 million in prize money this year, a record total and seven percent increase over last year’s mark.

Wimbledon has long been considered tennis’ crown jewel. That dynamic has only recently been recognized in its prize pool, though. A decade ago, tournament organizers were offering half what they do now.

Most of the prize pool is reserved for those competing in men’s and women’s singles and doubles. Wimbledon also sets aside a portion of money for wheelchair singles and doubles players.

Singles winners net $4.12 million in winnings, while runners-up receive $2.08 million. While a defeat at Centre Court is far from ideal, a $2 million paycheck doesn’t appear to be too bad of a consolation prize.
