FC Barcelona will play against Como 1907 in the 2025 Joan Gamper Trophy Final. The Italian club is managed by a former Barcelona player, Cesc Fabregas.
Hansi Flick will be starting a strong lineup as the match marks the last preseason game for Barcelona this summer. The game will be played at the Johann Cruyff Stadium in Barcelona.
- Goalkeeper: Joan Garcia
- Defenders: Alejandro Balde, Pau Cubarsi, Ronald Araujo, Eric Garcia
- Midfielders: Pedri, Frenkie De Jong, Fermin Lopez
- Forwards: Raphinha, Marcus Rashford, Lamine Yamal
Despite the strong lineup, one key player who is missing is Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker last appeared for Barcelona in the friendly match against Daegu FC, which resulted in a 5-0 win for the Spanish giants.
Lewandowski scored in the 27th minute of the match and only played in the first half. His absence today worries fans, as he may be out for the start of the La Liga season.
Barcelona Announced Lewandowski Injury
Just days before the Joan Gamper Trophy Final, FC Barcelona announced the injury Robert Lewandowski sustained during training. The club reports that the striker suffered a hamstring problem in his left thigh.
In the report, Barcelona did not give a certain timeframe for his return as the player is currently recovering. Javi Miguel from Diario AS reports that Lewandowski may be out for three weeks, excluding him from Barcelona’s La Liga opener against Mallorca.
FC Barcelona: “The first team player Robert Lewandowski has a hamstring problem in his left thigh. The striker is unavailable for Sunday’s game and his recovery will determine his return.”
The game will be shown on FC Barcelona’s YouTube channel for free.
