Who won NBA All-Star Game MVP in 2025? Stephen Curry wins honor as Shaq’s OGs claim championship in new format

With NBA All-Star Weekend in the Bay Area, it was only right.

After his All-Star team captured the mini-tournament title, Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has been named the NBA All-Star Game Kobe Bryant Most Valuable Player. In familiar territory at San Francisco’s Chase Center, Curry did what he does best, scoring a total of 20 points in the two-game tournament.

Behind Curry’s MVP performance, Shaq’s OGs took home a 42-35 win over Candace’s Rising Stars in the first round before earning a dominant 41-25 win over Chuck’s Global Stars in the title game.

Curry now has two regular-season MVPs, two All-Star Game MVPs, and an NBA Finals MVP on his ever-growing NBA resume.

Who won NBA All-Star Game MVP in 2025?

Stephen Curry was named NBA All-Star Game MVP in 2025.

He scored 12 of his team’s 40 points in the final game of the three-game NBA All-Star mini-tournament. Curry’s combined 20 points came on 7-of-15 shooting, including a red-hot 4-of-8 showing from deep in the championship.

Of course, that included a pull-up jumper from half-court.

How many times has Stephen Curry won NBA All-Star Game MVP?

Curry has won All-Star Game MVP twice in his career.

He is the 15th player in league history with more than one NBA All-Star Game MVP award to their name. He won the award for the first time when he canned 16 triples en route to 50 points at the 2022 NBA All-Star Game in Cleveland.

Fittingly, Curry’s two All-Star Game MVP awards have come near his birthplace of Akron, Ohio, and in his longtime NBA home of the Bay Area.

Multi-time NBA All-Star Game MVP winners

Curry joins a list headed by Bob Pettit and Kobe Bryant, both of whom won four NBA All-Star Game MVP awards in their respective careers. Bryant’s All-Star Game success is why the award is now named in his memory.
