The inaugural season of Tiger Woods’ golf league is underway, with Woods making his own TGL debut Tuesday night.
This week’s matchup features Woods’ Jupiter Links Golf Club against the LA Golf Club, headlined by Collin Morikawa.
While Woods is clearly the face of his team, he will need to rely on his teammates to help create a contender. Each team has four members, but just three will play any given week, with one getting the week off.

Tiger Woods
Woods headlines the team, as the 15-time major champion is one of several golfers whose primary residence is in Florida. Woods is one of the co-founders of the league, alongside Rory McIlroy, so it is no surprise that he got his own team and got to choose his location.
At 49 years old, Woods isn’t the player he once was, but he still has as much golf knowledge as any player on tour. Additionally, since Woods has dealt with injury issues over the years, this league allows him to play competitive golf without walking 18 holes for four straight days.
Max Homa
Ranked No. 40 in the world, Homa had the most successful 2024 season of any Jupiter team member, with 34 top-10 finishes and 14 top-5 finishes. The 34-year-old first joined the PGA Tour in 2014 and has six Tour wins to his name in 199 total events.
Besides the golf, Homa is also one of the biggest personalities in the golf, and that should be on display during TGL’s first season.

Kevin Kisner
A PGA Tour veteran, Kisner has won four tournaments in 322 events since first joining the Tour in 2011. While he can still compete at 40 years old, Kisner has started to enter the next phase of his career as a the lead analyst for NBC golf this year.
Like Homa, Kisner brings a big personality to the league that should be presented through the live mics in the matches.
Tom Kim
While Woods is the biggest name on the team, Kim is the highest-ranked player on the team at No. 23. The 22-year-old South Korean is a rising star in the game, and has already made a name for himself during the last two President’s Cups.
Kim might be the biggest personality on the team and could become one of the breakout stars of the league.
Every week, one member of the team will sit out, and Kim takes the seat during Jupiter’s first matchup. He will probably get his first taste of action the next time Jupiter plays.
Where is Jupiter?
Jupiter is a town in Florida that is about 90 minutes north of Miami that features over a dozens golf courses. Many golfers have made Jupiter their primary residence due to the proximity to courses and warm weather year-round.
