Which Denver Broncos made the Player’s 2024 All-Pro Team?

The NFL has yet to release its official All-Pro teams from the 2024 season but on Wednesday, the NFLPA released its third annual Player’s All-Pro Team. The list is made up of players voted on by their peers, making it an exclusive list.

The Denver Broncos, in the playoffs for the first time since the 2015 season, had two players on the list. Both players will be integral to how far the team will go in the playoffs and each will be a huge part of any future success.

Pat Surtain II

It’s no surprise to see Pat Surtain on the list as he put together another tremendous season as the league’s top shutdown corner. He was rewarded with his third consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl as a result.

On the season, Surtain has 45 total tackles, four interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and 11 pass defenses. His 100-yard interception return for a touchdown against the Raiders in Week 5 was a game-changing play.

That play was really what started to change the Broncos season, as well. Of course, those who watch the Broncos closely know that Surtain’s greatest strength is what doesn’t show up on the stat sheet. Like any true lockdown cornerback, he often nearly eliminates the opposition’s top receiving threat.

Marvin Mims Jr.

Marvin Mims has really stepped up for the team in recent weeks as there has been a concerted effort to get him the ball more. But he makes this All-Pro Team, just as he did with the Pro Bowl, as a returner.

Mims was selected as the punt returner. On 26 punt returns this season, Mims averaged 15.7 yards per return, helping his team flip the field several times. Broncos fans are likely thrilled to see Mims get this recognition, but his development as a wide receiver is the most exciting aspect of his game.

This season, he caught 17 more passes than he did as a rookie, gained 126 more yards and found the end zone five more times. That’s a trajectory the team hopes he stays on as 2025 could be a huge year for him.
