Where to watch Texans vs. Chargers live stream, TV channel, start time for NFL wild card playoff game

The Texans had high expectations entering the season, and while they did make the playoffs, it was partially a result of a weak division.

The AFC South has been pitiful in recent years, and this was no different. Houston was the only team to finish over .500 with a 10-7 record. The remaining three teams combined for 15 wins.

Nonetheless, Houston makes the playoffs for the second consecutive year and will play the No. 5 Chargers in the wild-card round. C.J. Stroud leads a banged-up Texans squad into the weekend.

Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell both suffered season-ending injuries, leaving Nico Collins as the clear No. 1 receiver. Collins is excellent, but he’s also dealt with injuries this season.

Meanwhile, the Chargers played in one of the tougher divisions this year in the AFC West. The Chiefs ran away with the title at 15-2, but the Chargers finished with an 11-6 record, and the Broncos also slid into the playoffs with a 10-7 record.

The Chargers don’t get the home-field advantage despite the superior record, so they’ll travel down to Houston for this matchup.
