Both the teams were relegated from the Premier League last season and are competing again for automatic promotion. 

Sheffield United are marching towards the Premier League berth with an 11-match unbeaten streak in the Championship. Despite a two-point deduction over the summer, the Blades are sitting at the summit of England’s second tier with 48 points from 22 matches. 

Burnley earned two crucial victories against Norwich and Watford in their previous league outings. The 2022/23 Championship winners are four points behind the leaders Sheffield currently.

Sheffield United will miss the services of Oliver Arblaster, Femi Seriki, and Tyrese Campbell due to injuries. 

Anel Ahmedhodzic and Vinicius Souza’s availability is doubtful due to a hamstring injuries. Tom Davies and Sydie Peck will continue in the midfield if the Brazilian misses out. 

Seriki’s absence will allow Jack Robinson and Harry Souttar to retain their positions in the heart of the defense. After scoring three goals in the last two games, Kieffer Moore will lead the attack in a 4-2-3-1 setup.
