Where to watch Real Madrid vs. Pachuca live stream, TV channel, start time for FIFA Club World Cup match

Bidding to keep their hopes alive for the round of 16, La Liga giants Real Madrid will face Pachuca in their second outing of the FIFA Club World Cup tournament on Sunday.

Boss Xabi Alonso had a disappointing start to his tenure as Real Madrid kicked off their FIFA Club World Cup campaign with a 1-1 draw against Al-Hilal. The La Liga giants struggled in their opening match with an unconvincing performance, missing their star striker Kylian Mbappe with an illness.

Los Blancos are currently placed at the second spot in Group H; a win against Pachuca will keep their hopes for the knockout qualification alive. Xabi Alonso’s side started their campaign as the clear favorites to win the FIFA Club World Cup title this time, simply because they are the strongest contenders.

On the other side, Pachuca also didn’t get a win in their opening match as they fell 1-2 to the Austrian club Salzburg. Jaime Lozano’s team will get eliminated if they suffer a defeat against Los Blancos on Sunday. The Gophers are not in a consistent form either; they have one win in their last 5 outings across all competitions, but they cannot be taken lightly.

This won’t be the first time these two teams will be playing against each other; they previously met in December last year in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, where the Spanish giants picked up a comfortable 3-0 victory against the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup winners.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.
