Fulton (23-1) is a former WBC and WBO super bantamweight champion. He lost the belt in 2023 against Naoya Inoue and has since won two straight. “Cool Boy Steph” won the WBC featherweight title in February.
A recharged Fulton looks to make a statement and cement his legacy with another title win.
“This fight is helping to put me in the Hall of Fame. It would help stamp it. That’s why it’s an important fight for me,” Fulton said. “We’re taking things away from his game and focusing on my strengths. We’re going to make enhancements with everything we do. We’re working hard.”
Foster (23-3) won the WBC super featherweight title, lost it against Robson Conceicao last July, and won it back in a rematch last November. It’s his third overall defense of the title.
Looking to remain a long-term champion, Foster is ready to do whatever it takes to take Fulton down.
“This is the biggest moment of my career because this fight will take me where I want to go in the sport. This is the most important fight of my career,” Foster said. “This isn’t gonna be like Terence Crawford moving up in weight. That’s not happening. I’m handling business.”
