Where to watch Man United vs. ASEAN All Stars live stream, TV channel, start time for Malaysia friendly

Manchester United are gearing up for a long-awaited return to Malaysia, marking their first appearance in the country in over a decade and a half.

The Reds are scheduled to take on the ASEAN All-Stars at Kuala Lumpur’s Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Wednesday, a fixture that rekindles memories of their 2009 pre-season visit.

This clash is part of United’s post-season itinerary, which also includes a friendly in Hong Kong against a local select side. The tour comes hot on the heels of their 2-0 win over Aston Villa in their final Premier League match of the season, providing a fitting send-off before jetting off to Asia.

While some may view these tours as commercial rather than competitive ventures, there’s no denying the financial upside, especially as the club looks to strengthen its position with regard to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.
