Emanuel Navarrete vs. Charly Suarez will be in the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California on May 10. The main card starts at 10 p.m. ET after the prelims, which start at 5:30 p.m. ET. Navarrete and Suarez should make their way to the ring around 11:15 p.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

Navarrete (39-2-1) won the WBO super featherweight title in February 2023. He last fought in December, successfully defending the belt against Oscar Valdez to go 2-0 against the former champion. “Vaquero” is a three-division champion and continues to reach new heights in the sport.

While not in the division for long, Navarrete looks to prove to the other champions he’s the one to beat at 130.

Suarez (18-0) is a three-time gold and 2014 Asian Games silver medalist. An Olympian, “King’s Warrior” is a massive underdog. The Filipino looks to flip the script and take out the mighty Navarrete in his first fight for gold.

“This fight is a big answered prayer for me because we trained for this fight, and this is my shot. I’ve been looking for this fight since two years ago,” Suarez said via BoxingScene. “In this fight I use all of my experience in the amateurs. Me and my team, we studied for his movement, the movement of Navarrete.

“No more excuses in the ring.”
