Where to watch Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea live stream, TV channel, start time, lineups, prediction for Premier League match

Chelsea will hope to put themselves back in title contention when they visit Crystal Palace in a Premier League clash this Saturday.

The Blues’ aspirations hit a recent snag as they failed to secure a win in the last three games. Chelsea enters this game on the back of a 0-2 defeat to Ipswich Town.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace, despite being at the bottom half of the points table, have been resilient in the last few games. They scored a 2-1 comeback victory over Southampton in their last outing.

Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea predicted lineups, team news

The short Crystal Palace injury list has been a boon for manager Oliver Glasner this season, with the Eagles only without Adam Wharton and Matheus Franca at the moment.

Additionally, Glasner confirmed that Rob Holding has been told to train on his own away from the team, offering a vague explanation that sounded as if it’s disciplinary-related.

Marc Guehi should return for this match after missing the Southampton win due to a yellow-card suspension. That could see American Chris Richards sent back to the bench after he slotted in along a back three.

Crystal Palace predicted XI (3-4-3, right to left): Henderson (GK) — Chalobah, Lacroix, Guehi — Munoz, Hughes, Lerma, Mitchell — Sarr, Mateta, Eze

Injured: Wharton (groin), Franca (ribs)
Suspended: None

The massive squad available to Enzo Maresca has mitigated some of the injury absences. The thinnest position is center-back, where Benoit Badiashile is missing with a muscle injury and Wesley Fofana is out thanks to a hamstring concern.

Carney Chukwuemeka missed the Ipswich match due to illness and could return here, but Romeo Lavia will likely still miss out as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

The biggest tactical question for Maresca is who to start as a striker. Both Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson have been effective this year, but they both have drawn blanks in the recent three-match winless run.

Chelsea predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Sanchez (GK) — Disasi, Adarabioyo, Colwill, Cucurella — Caicedo, Fernandez — Madueke, Palmer, Sancho — Jackson

Injured: Badiashile (muscle), Fofana (hamstring), Lavia (hamstring)
Suspended: Mudryk

Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea Prediction

Crystal Palace ended their 13-match losing streak against Chelsea in the Premier League in September, as the London derby ended 1-1. Despite Chelsea’s winless run at the end of 2024, they will start favorites against Palace.

Cole Palmer was involved in most number of Premier League goals in 2024, with 26 goals and 13 assists, and will be the key to Chelsea’s attacking prowess yet again. While Palace will put up a fight, the Blues are likely to bag three points from this contest.

  • Prediction: Crystal Palace 0-1 Chelsea
