Few teams have been as successful over the past few years than the Buccaneers, who eye their sixth consecutive playoff appearance in the upcoming season.
It’s hard to believe that it’s already Year 4 for Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay, but the former No. 1 overall pick has certainly found a home. Last year, Mayfield threw for a career-high 4,500 yards and 41 touchdowns, and he may just be reaching his prime ahead of his age-30 season.
Mayfield will have his familiar cast of weapons to work with, led by receiver Mike Evans. The big story to watch this Training Camp is the health of receiver Chris Godwin, who is coming back from a dislocated ankle that he suffered during Week 7 of the 2024 season.
This also marks the fourth year in charge for head coach Todd Bowles, who has guided the Buccaneers to the playoffs in each of his first three seasons. But the Buccaneers have only won one playoff game in that stretch, despite three division crowns.
