Leicester City head to the Vitality Stadium on Sunday for their final showdown of the 2024/25 Premier League season, hoping to end on a high against Bournemouth.
While AFC Bournemouth once harbored faint hopes of a top-eight finish and a possible spot in Europe, those aspirations were ultimately dashed following a defeat to Manchester City.
That loss brought the curtain down on their Premier League campaign in a similar fashion to their FA Cup exit back in March, also at Man City’s hands.
Leicester, meanwhile, may be heading for the drop, but they’re not bowing out quietly. Under the guidance of Ruud van Nistelrooy, the Foxes have shown signs of fight, having secured seven points from their last three outings. They’ll be looking to carry that late-season momentum into their final fixture in the top flight.
The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Bournemouth vs. Leicester predicted lineups, team news
Andoni Iraola can breathe a little easier with Justin Kluivert fit and ready to slot into the midfield in place of the injured Alex Scott.
The Dutchman’s return is expected to push Lewis Cook into a more defensive midfield role alongside Tyler Adams, while Kluivert will operate just behind Evanilson, who enters the match on a hot streak, having netted five goals in his last five Premier League games on the road.
At the back, despite confirmation of Dean Huijsen’s impending £50 million transfer to Real Madrid, the highly rated defender is expected to feature for Bournemouth in what will be his penultimate appearance for the club.
Bournemouth predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Kepa (GK) — Smith, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez — Adams, Brooks — Tavernier, Kluivert, Semenyo — Evanilson.
Injured: Christie, Unal, Ouattara, Sinisterra, Scott.
Suspended: Cook.
Leicester, meanwhile, continue to be hampered by a growing injury list. Abdul Fatawu remains sidelined with a long-term knee issue that has kept him out for the bulk of the season.
Defensively, Ruud van Nistelrooy has limited options with Harry Souttar nursing an ankle injury and Ricardo Pereira also unavailable due to a muscle problem.
The Foxes’ attacking line has taken hits too, with Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Stephy Mavididi both unavailable and undergoing treatment.
Adding to the manager’s headaches, first-choice goalkeeper Mads Hermansen is also out, having been ruled out with a hernia, leaving a significant void between the posts.
Leicester predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Stolarczyk (GK) — Justin, Coady, Faes, Thomas — Ndidi, Soumare — McAteer, Ayew, El Khannouss — Daka.
Injured: Reid, Souttar, Fatawu, Hermansen, Mavididi.
Suspended: None.
