Where to watch Aston Villa vs. Nottingham Forest live stream, TV channel, start time for Premier League match

Aston Villa will look to make it three in a row when they host third-placed Nottingham Forest in a thrilling Premier League clash on Saturday.

Unai Emery’s side is rocking with their top form across all the competitions; their unbeaten streak has now extended to six matches with their latest 3-0 dominating victory over Brighton in a Premier League clash last time out.  Both Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio scored their individual goals and depicted their stellar form; a last-minute goal from Donyell Malen helped the Villains seal a comfortable victory.

The Villains are gearing up to face Paris Saint-Germain in the first-leg quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League in the coming midweek, having already secured a semi-final spot in the FA Cup last weekend after beating Preston North End 3-0.

Meanwhile, the Reds continue to shine with their red-hot form and are currently placed in the third spot in the Premier League leaderboard with 57 points from 30 games. They will be heading into this contest after beating 1-0 Man United last time out. Similar to Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest have also secured their place in the FA Cup semi-final after beating Brighton in a penalty shootout last weekend.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Aston Villa vs. Nottingham Forest lineups, team news

The hosts will be without the services of Ross Barkley (knee) and Leon Bailey (knock); the duo are unlikely to feature in this weekend’s contest.

English attacker Morgan Rogers’ participation in this match is also doubtful, as he was seen limping off during the victory over Brighton. It is still unclear how severe his injury is.

Unai Emery won’t be stressing on Rogers’ injury as he has plenty of attacking options in the squad. With two in-form goal corers, Malen and Asensio, Emery will look to add them to the starting XI.

Aston Villa predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Martinez (GK) — Cash, Disasi, Mings, Digne — Kamara, Tielemans — Asensio, Ramsey, Rashford — Watkins.

Injured: Barkley, Bailey, Rogers
Suspended: None

For the visitors, Nottingham played their last match against Man United without their star striker Chris Wood; the New Zealander is yet to completely recover from his hip injury that he sustained during his international break. His participation is still not confirmed yet, but manager Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed that his injury would be assessed ahead of Saturday’s match.

English midfielder Callum Hudson-Odoi also missed the clash against Man United due to unknown reasons; he is set to return for this clash.

Ola Aina left the field in the first half due to a calf-injury scare, and he is likely to remain sidelined for a while now. In Aina’s absence, Brazilian striker Morato is likely to be added to the starting XI for this clash.

Nottingham Forest predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Sels (GK) — Williams, Milenkovic, Murillo, Morato — Dominguez, Anderson — Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi — Awoniyi.

Injured: Chris Wood, Ola Aina
Suspended: None
