
Club America will look to continue their impressive run of form when they host fellow Mexican club Cruz Azul in the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal clash on Tuesday.
The current Liga MX Clausura table toppers advanced to the quarterfinal by defeating Chivas 4-1 on aggregate in the Round of 16. They defeated Tigres 3-0 in league play on the weekend.
Cruz Azul. meanwhile, defeated Seattle Sounders 4-1 in the second leg after a goalless stalemate in the previous leg to qualify for the Champions Cup quarterfinal.
