The Las Vegas Raiders continued their losing streak in Week 15 after dropping their 10th straight contest on Monday night to the Atlanta Falcons, 15-9.
While the Raiders gave a valiant effort on the defensive side of the ball, the offense was about as bad as we expected it to be. Quarterback Desmond Ridder was a total zero outside of a few drives. In all, the Raiders only mustered up 249 yards of total offense, including just 184 yards through the air and 65 yards on the ground.
The Raiders also saw yet another injury, as running back Sincere McCormick exited the contest early due to an ankle injury. McCormick had been the Raiders’ best rusher this season, but now his status for Week 16 is in doubt.
The good news is, the Raiders are back on top in the 2025 NFL Draft order. Here’s a look at how things stand going into Week 16.
2025 NFL Draft order
According to Tankathon, the Raiders jumped back into the top spot in the 2025 NFL Draft order after their loss. The New York Giants temporarily held the top spot before the Raiders lost on Monday night.
Here’s a look at the full top 10.
1. Las Vegas Raiders (2-12) – SOS: .538
2. New York Giants (2-12) – SOS: .550
3. New England Patriots (3-11)
4. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-11)
5. Carolina Panthers (3-11)
6. Tennessee Titans (3-11)
7. Cleveland Browns (3-11)
8. New York Jets (4-10)
9. Chicago Bears (4-10)
10. New Orleans Saints (4-10)
Despite having the same record as the Giants, the Raiders take the top spot for now because of their lower strength of schedule.
The Raiders have three games left in their miserable season, with home games against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16 and 18, respectively, and a road game against the New Orleans Saints in Week 17.
Next week’s game against the Jaguars will be particularly dangerous, as Las Vegas actually has a chance to win that one. Of course, it would be bad for the Raiders to win any games the rest of the way, as they need to secure the highest draft pick possible in order to grab one of the best signal-callers in next year’s draft.
