The 125th U.S. Open will begin on Thursday, June 12. While some fans of golf tend to think that the majors are all held in the same place, especially with the majesty surrounding the Masters and Augusta National. The truth is, though, that that is the lone major that doesn’t change its location yearly.
Last year’s U.S. Open was held on Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina, and in 2026, the event will be held in New York. The 2025 U.S. Open will take place at the Oakmont Country Club near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The 2024 winner, Bryson DeChambeau, will be trying for his third U.S. Open championship, while Scottie Scheffler hopes that his win at the PGA Championship propels him to his first career U.S. Open title, and only needs a win at The Open Championship to complete the career grand slam.
