KSI and Dillon Danis were finally set to face off on March 29 in Manchester, U.K. after a protracted build-up to their proposed boxing match.
The bout was the headline act of Misfits Boxing’s “Unfinished Business” card. It had already been postponed once, with American Danis having pulled out of the original January 2023 date a week in advance.
However, this week’s contest was also called off at late notice, meaning fans will be forced to wait a little longer for a showdown to settle a simmering feud between the YouTuber and MMA fighter.

Why was KSI vs. Dillon Danis postponed?
The bout was postponed after KSI became ill and was left unable to compete.
Misfits Boxing said in a statement: “Due to an illness to KSI, Misfits Boxing ‘Unfinished Business’, scheduled for March 29th in Manchester, has been postponed. A further update will be issued next week, including a new date for the event.”
KSI published a video in which he said he was laid up in bed on antibiotics and painkillers after being ill “for almost three weeks.”
“I’ve tried my hardest but my body has legit just given up,” he said. “I’ve had doctors come around to try and decipher what is going on. Honestly, I’ve never been this ill for this long in my life, and I hate it.
I haven’t pulled out you cretin. It’s postponed. Your punishment is just getting delayed 👍🏿 https://t.co/FzE38QT1RA

“I feel useless and it’s depressing. I feel like I’ve let so many people down. I haven’t been able to post any YouTube videos to help promote the fight because I’ve just been feeling so s—. I’m just sick of being sick, man.
“I want to move the fight to another date because I still want to knock out Dillon Danis. I didn’t train this hard for nothing.
“Either way, I want to say sorry to everyone at Misfits, everyone at DAZN, I want to say sorry to the Sidemen for not being in as many videos as I’d like to be. And most importantly, I want to say sorry to the fans.”
