Hansi Flick is not done with Barcelona just yet.
The German coach, who has helped steer Barca through a season full of trophies and tight battles, has now reportedly reached a full verbal agreement with the club to extend his stay.
Flick, who joined Barca after a rocky exit from the German national team, has quickly found his rhythm in Spain.
Under his leadership, Barcelona have already lifted the Supercopa and Copa del Rey. Now, they sit one win away from clinching the La Liga title.
But while fans wait for silverware, something else is also nearly in the bag — Flick’s new contract.
“Flick’s deal is ready and valid until June 2027,” quoted Fabrizio Romano.

When can Hansi Flick sign new Barcelona contract?
Talks between Flick’s agent, Pini Zahavi, and Barcelona have been going on quietly for weeks. But after Barca’s 4–3 win over Real Madrid in El Clasico, the final pieces fell into place.
That wasn’t just a win on the pitch — it was one off it too.
As per sources, at a dinner following the match, Flick, Zahavi, and club president Joan Laporta finalized the agreement.
Flick will now add one more year to his current deal, taking it through June 2027. There’s no clause for further extension — just a clean two-year plan.
Barcelona are expected to hold off on the official announcement until their La Liga title is confirmed. That could happen as early as Thursday, when they face Espanyol.
A win there would make it mathematically impossible for Real Madrid to catch them.
Until then, fans will have to sit tight. But it seems clear: Flick will be calling the shots from the dugout next season. And maybe — just maybe — he’ll be bringing more than tactical plans to the table.
