The Chiefs know all about what it takes to win a Super Bowl after winning three of the last five. Matthew Stafford and the Rams have climbed the mountaintop as well, while coaches Mike Tomlin and John Harbaugh have each won a championship.

After making its Las Vegas debut last year, the Super Bowl is returning to familiar territory.
Super Bowl 59 will be played at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Feb. 9, marking the record-tying 11th time the city has hosted the NFL’s biggest game. The Superdome last hosted the Super Bowl at the end of the 2012 season, with the Superdome experiencing a partial power outage that delayed the game in the third quarter.
Before hosting the Ravens’ win over the 49ers, the Superdome was home to Tom Brady’s first Super Bowl win and Brett Favre’s only Super Bowl win.
The Superdome and the surrounding area came under the spotlight after a heinous attack killed at least 15 people on New Year’s Day near Bourbon Street. While the Sugar Bowl was postponed to Jan. 2, the NFL released a statement expressing confidence the Super Bowl will be safe and secure after two years of planning with local officials.

Future Super Bowl locations, host sites
The NFL has planned out the host sites up to Super Bowl 62 in 2028.
Following New Orleans, the game will head back west to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara at the end of the 2025 season. Levi’s Stadium, home of the 49ers, first hosted Super Bowl 50, which saw the Broncos outlast the Panthers in Peyton Manning’s final game.
For the following years, the Super Bowl will be played at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Each venue has hosted one Super Bowl in its history, with SoFi Stadium playing host to the Rams’ home victory over the Bengals three years ago.

Super Bowl halftime show 2025
Kendrick Lamar will perform the halftime show at Super Bowl 59. He previously made an appearance during the Super Bowl 56 halftime show that also featured Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.

Super Bowl national anthem 2025
Jon Batiste will perform the national anthem before Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans. The 38-year-old is from Louisiana and is a five-time Grammy Award winner.
