After years of teasing a fight, Taylor (24-1) and Serrano (47-3-1) competed for undisputed lightweight gold in 2022. Taylor beat Serrano to retain gold in what was the Fight of the Year. 

The rematch saw Taylor once again beat Serrano in a fight many believed Serrano won. Headbutts from Taylor affected Serrano’s vision, and the former was even deducted a point late in the fight. About 50 million households saw the rematch.

Over 19,000 in MSG saw them give their all three years ago. They return to New York to compete in what may be an epic trilogy. Both will give it their all. Who will walk out the winner? 

“This is another legacy-building fight for myself and Amanda. I am 2-0 against Amanda, but I just want to prove myself once more—and what an amazing opportunity that I have on July 11th,” Taylor said.

“We are going to go out there and we are going to put it all on the line, this fight. So you are going to see who’s the true champion come July 11th,” Serrano said. “We both want it just as much as each other. I’m going to work hard. She’s going to work hard. She has to prove to everybody and to herself that she beat me, convincingly.”
