What Lamine Yamal’s girlfriend did during Barcelona’s win has fans talking

Barcelona’s 6-1 demolition of Olympiacos in the Champions League should’ve been all about football. But somehow, it turned into a story about love, laughter, and a little too much PDA.

Lamine Yamal, the 18-year-old sensation who can’t stop breaking records, made history again — becoming the youngest ever to reach 25 Champions League appearances.

Yet, what grabbed more attention wasn’t his goal, his assist, or even his composure under pressure. It was what happened in the stands.

Nicki Nicole, Yamal’s girlfriend and Argentine rapper, was seen enjoying herself throughout the game. Cameras caught her joking and laughing with injured stars Raphinha and Dani Olmo as Barca ran riot.

The trio seemed in high spirits — cheering every goal, laughing through VAR drama, and celebrating like it was a summer concert.

But what happened after the match had social media losing its cool.

The moment that set the internet buzzing

When the final whistle blew, Yamal walked over to the stands, blew a kiss toward Nicki, and shared a quick embrace.

That moment would’ve been sweet enough — until another video surfaced online. In it, Yamal is seen holding Nicki from behind in what many fans called “too intimate for public viewing.”

X (formerly Twitter), of course, did what X (formerly Twitter) does best. “Lamine Yamal needs to chill a bit, at least in front of the camera,” one fan wrote.

Another added, “This kid needs some discipline, man.” A few even joked, “He’s playing like Prime Messi just to impress his girl.”

While some defended the young couple, saying it’s harmless affection, others questioned whether the public romance could become a distraction.

Yamal, though, didn’t seem too worried — later posting a photo with Nicki and his younger brother on Instagram, captioned with a heart emoji.

Despite the chatter, Yamal continues to shine where it matters — on the pitch. Manager Hansi Flick praised his star boy after the game, saying, “It’s important for Lamine to score goals. When it’s a huge match, he always performs.”

Whether fans love or hate his public displays, there’s no denying one thing: Yamal knows how to keep both defenders and the internet guessing.
