The NFL’s Week 17 schedule has been anything but traditional, with two games on Wednesday and three more on Saturday in addition to the typical Thursday, Sunday and Monday slots.
With only eight games left over for Sunday’s daytime slates, the matchups — and the playoff races they impact — will be under the spotlight. Tom Brady is set to call easily the biggest game of the daytime slate alongside Kevin Burkhardt.
As teams prepare for the playoffs, Brady will have to do the same. He will call games in Weeks 17 and 18 before making his playoff debut as a broadcaster during wild-card weekend. Sunday’s critical NFC showdown will give him the opportunity to call another high-stakes game.
Here’s a look at which game Brady is calling and the complete Fox broadcasting schedule for Week 17.

What game is Tom Brady calling today?
Brady and Burkhardt will be in the booth for Sunday’s tilt between the Packers and Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The NFC North is a gauntlet outside of the Bears, and Packers-Vikings is about as good as it gets in Week 17. Green Bay has already clinched a playoff berth and can’t win the division, but the stakes are high for the Packers simply because a loss would leave them at risk of falling to the No. 7 seed in the NFC. That could be the difference between facing the Eagles in the first round and facing the winner of the NFC West.
For the Vikings, plenty is on the line despite their stellar 13-2 record. A win would make Minnesota’s Week 18 matchup with Detroit a battle for the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye. A loss, however, could allow the Lions to clinch the NFC North on Monday and force the Vikings to start the playoffs on the road.
It will be a playoff atmosphere in Minnesota, and an all-time playoff performer will be in the booth analyzing the action. The game will be nationally televised, with CBS broadcasting the only other game during the late afternoon window.
