What channel is U.S. Open golf on today? TV coverage, live streams to watch Thursday’s Round 1

The third golf major of the PGA Tour is set to begin this week at the Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont and Plum, Pennsylvania.

The U.S. Open is one of four golf majors and will crown another champion in 2025. Bryson DeChambeau won last year, becoming the second golfer since 2004 to win two U.S. Open championships. He will also look to become the first back-to-back winner since Brooks Koepka in 2017-18.

Tiger Woods (3) and Koepka (2) are the only active golfers with at least two U.S. Open titles. Woods earned his last U.S. Open win in 2008 and won’t participate in 2025 due to a ruptured Achilles.

Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler will also be names to watch as they have both had strong starts to 2025. McIlroy won this year’s Masters and The Players Championship, while Scheffler won the PGA Championship and the Memorial.
