What channel is the NHL Wrigley Field game on? Time, live stream to watch Blackhawks-Blues Winter Classic

For the first time since 2009, the NHL Winter Classic returns to the Friendly Confines.

The Blackhawks will venture a couple of miles north from the United Center to Wrigley Field, welcoming in the visiting Blues for a Central Division showdown on Near Year’s Eve.

It’s the 16th iteration of the Winter Classic, an annual tradition that began in 2008. The Blackhawks are 0-4 in the Winter Classic, while the Blues are 2-0.

Wrigley Field hosted the event in 2009, the first time that the Friendly Confines featured a hockey game. This go-around will integrate a couple of baseball traditions, too: rooftop seating and a special rendition of ‘Take Me Out to the Ball Game.’

The Blackhawks and Blues met in the Winter Classic at Busch Stadium in St. Louis in 2017, where the Blues rolled to a 4-1 win.

Here is everything that you need to know about this year’s NHL Winter Classic at Wrigley Field, including TV and live stream information.
