The action in the 2025 NBA Playoffs is heating up with teams aiming to reach the Eastern and Western Conference Finals. Among the games slated for Friday night is Game 3 between the Pacers and Cavaliers.
Indiana is up 2-0 in the series after taking both games in Cleveland. Game 2 on Tuesday needed some late game heroics. The Pacers received that from none other that Tyrese Haliburton, who scored 11 of his 19 points during the final quarter, which included another game-winning three.
Myles Turner and Aaron Nesmith led Indiana in scoring with 23 points each. It’s also the first time since the first-round series against Orlando in 1994 that the Pacers won the first two games of a playoff series as the road team.
Donovan Mitchell, with three Cavs out with injuries, provided much of the offensive production Tuesday. Mitchell scored 48 points, extending his record of most consecutive playoff games with 30 or more points to nine games.
