First-year head coach Aaron Glenn is still looking for the first win of his coaching career as the Jets host the Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.
Last week, New York (0-4) benefitted from the return of starting quarterback Justin Fields after a one-game absence due to a concussion. Fields threw for a season-high 226 yards and notched two total touchdowns in the loss to the Dolphins, a bright spot in an otherwise poor performance.
Will this be the week that Glenn gets his elusive first victory? It won’t be easy against a Dallas team (1-2-1) that is in a similarly desperate position following a 40-40 tie with the Packers last Sunday.
While the Cowboys have started slow, the offense hasn’t been a problem. Quarterback Dak Prescott leads the league in passing yards, and wideout George Pickens has stepped up in CeeDee Lamb’s absence, reeling in a pair of touchdowns last week.
Dallas has lost each of its last two games at MetLife Stadium.
