Another postseason college football all-star game is set for this weekend, as the 2025 HBCU Legacy Bowl takes place Saturday in New Orleans.
A staple since 2021, the game brings together the top draft-eligible talent from the nation’s HBCUs in advance of NFL Draft in April.
The player pool will be divided into two teams: Team Gaither and Team Robinson, named after former HBCU head coaches Jake Gaither (Florida A&M; 1945-73) and Eddie Robinson (Gramling State; 1941-97).
Team Gaither will be coached by Chennis Berry (SC State) and Alvin Parker (Virginia Union), while Team Robinson and will be led by T.C. Taylor (Jackson State) and Sam Shade (Alabama A&M).
