The Eagles will host the Bears on Black Friday in Week 13, marking the third consecutive year the NFL has held a Friday game the day after Thanksgiving.
The Eagles enter as one of the NFC’s best teams, which isn’t a surprise given their appearance in the last two Super Bowls, including a victory last February.
The more surprising aspect of this matchup is that the Bears are also among the NFC’s top teams. They have climbed the ranks thanks to first-year coach Ben Johnson and quarterback Caleb Williams, who is starting to look comfortable in the NFL.
In other years, this game might have been one to overlook despite its primetime slot, but it shapes up as a showdown between two of the NFC’s best teams this season.
