The WBC has publicly reported two adverse findings under its Clean Boxing Program with former world champions Jaime Munguia (45-2, 35 KOs) and Francisco Rodriguez Jr. (40-6-1, 27 KOs).
Tijuana’s ex-WBO world super-welterweight champion Jaime Munguia defeated Bruno Surace on May 3rd in Riyadh to gain revenge from his prior knockout loss to the Frenchman last December.
Nuevo Leon’s Francisco Rodriguez Jr. was in action last month when he scored a record number of punches in his wide unanimous decision win over unbeaten Olympic champion Galal Yafai.
In both cases, the WBC Results Management Unit has started the evaluation process, consistent with its applicable protocol upon receiving adverse findings’ reports.
