Spencer Strider is in some serious hot water with Philadelphia Phillies fans.
During Tuesday’s game between the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies, Braves Ace, Spencer Strider walloped Phillies slugger, Bryce Harper with a fastball to the elbow, causing Harper to exit the game with an injury.
Watch Strider plunk Harper with a 95mph four-seam fastball right to the elbow and decide for yourself if it was intentional.

Harper left the game with what the Phillies are calling a right elbow contusion, but immediate x-rays came back negative.

The two-time National League’s Most Valuable Player is hitting .267 with eight home runs and 33 RBI in 53 games thus far, this season.
No timeframe for Harper’s return to the lineup have been provided at this time.
The Phillies have been one of the hottest teams in baseball as of late, heading into their series against the Braves after winning nine of their last 10 games, which has seen Harper and co. go from being 3.5 games behind the New York Mets in the NL East to now leading their divisional foes by 1.5 games heading into Tuesday’s action.
