Warriors’ Stephen Curry ranked as 2nd-best North Carolina high school basketball player ever

Warriors’ Stephen Curry, the greatest point guard of all-time, was ranked as the 2nd-best North Carolina high school basketball player ever by nc_highschoolsportspage.

Michael Jordan was ranked at No.1 he played hoops at a public school in Wilmington, North Carolina.

It’s still pretty remarkable to see Curry ranked at No.2 in something, he is one of the greatest basketball players of all time. But, having Jordan at the No.1 spot feels like the most understandable decision all things considered.

Jordan averaged 30.1 PPG over his historic 15-year career. His accolades — five MVP’s, 14 All-Star game selections, six NBA championships —  speak for themselves.

Curry is averaging 24 PPG now in his 16th NBA season. He’s won a pair of MVP’s and is regarded as the greatest shooter in NBA history. He’s had 13 seasons shooting 40% or better from beyond the arc over his career.

Those accolades were set in stone with excellent North Carolina high school basketball numbers.
