Soccer season has arrived! Tickets have been flying for the U.S. Men’s National Team’s international friendly against Venezuela this weekend.
The two countries will face off on American soil on Saturday, in a matinee game at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The match falls outside of the FIFA international window, leaving the American squad only made up of MLS players. That means fans won’t see the likes of captain and fan-favorite Christian Pulisic, but instead will get a look at younger, newer players. Seven players have earned their first USMNT call-ups, and many will make their country debut against Venezuela.
It’ll be a true test for Mauricio Pochettino as he builds up his squad ahead of next year’s World Cup host.
