FANTASY LINEUP TIPS: Week 8 Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em | Week 8 Sleepers | Week 8 Busts | Week 8 Waiver Wire

Half-PPR flex rankings tips for Week 8

Half-PPR RB Week 8 lineup advice

  • With Chuba Hubbard back, Rico Dowdle has lost some of his value. However, it is a committee backfield between the two of them.
  • Not that anyone needed advice on Bijan Robinson, but he’s about to go nuclear against the Dolphins. With that being said, Tyler Allgeier should be able to have a productive day as well.
  • The Baltimore Ravens are allowing 29.1 fantasy points per game to opposing RBs. Both Chicago Bears RBs are in play this week, and both can be fantasy viable.

Half-PPR WR Week 8 lineup advice

  • Rashee Rice was heavily involved in his season debut. This should worry Xavier Worthy managers going forward.
  • George Pickens went from being a surefire dominant WR to one of the more uncomfortable starts this week. I still think you have to start him based on what he did without Lamb, but his volume takes a dip.
  • Welcome back, Ja’Marr Chase. Turns out, he just needed a QB with the first name Joe to be good at fantasy again. But seriously, 1.01 drafters can rejoice, Chase is once again a top of the WR position.

Half-PPR TE Week 8 lineup advice

  • Oronde Gadsden played 79% of the offensive snaps in Week 7 and was targeted 9 times for a career-high game. He feels like a must-start in the current state of the Chargers’ pass-heavy offense.
  • Kyle Pitts should have a solid fantasy showing this week against the Miami Dolphins. Miami allows 14.6 FPPG to the TE position.

Who are the best Half-PPR flex Week 8 sleepers?

Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Panthers: The name itself may not be a sleeper, but some managers may be discouraged from playing McMillan. Andy Dalton starting may benefit McMillan’s fantasy outlook, and the game script suggests they might trail Buffalo, leading to increased passing.

Jayden Higgins, WR, Texans: This could be the week for Higgins to break out, finally. There is a potential for no Nico Collins, and Higgins’ snap rate continues to rise.

Who are the top bust candidates in Half-PPR fantasy this week?

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, Patriots: Stevenson is coming off a great fantasy game in Week 7. The matchup in Week 8 does warrant cause for concern. Cleveland is one of the top run defenses in the NFL. The Patriots may have to lean away from their rushing game in Week 8.

Jaylen Waddle, WR, Dolphins: There is not a lot to feel good about when it comes to the current state of the Miami Dolphins. Waddle will have a tough time producing against the Atlanta Falcons’ defense that allows the second-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing WRs.
